Hi, I only use web2py's T and Internationalization feature in case I need a few words to be translated. In cases were I have longer texts that need to be translated, I either put them in a database or in a view.
I also have the user choose his preferred language, I never base it on a user's location. At the moment I live in the Baltic Sea area, some web sites think they do me a favour by presenting their content in German ... I never considered the pros and cons of this approach, but now that someone explicitly asked me, I don't know. Kind regards, Annet
