While solving some problems of importing module, I found a web article that contains some argument saying that local_import is deprecated.
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.python.web2py/67885 The web2py book (ed 3.1) has no mention about local_import being deprecated, so I would like to know it is or it is not.
