It would seem that Postfix is configured correctly after all. The problem seems to be the server I've chosen -- 'smtp.gmail.com:587' works, but 'smtp.broadband.rogers.com:25' doesn't. WTF.
If 'smtp.broadband.rogers.com:25' works under Windows, why the hell wouldn't it work under Linux?? Oh well.
