Grrr, grrr, and triple grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. This encoding stuff can be so awfully painful (all the time, it seems).
OK, Jonathan, I'm pretty sure you are right, it's an editor encoding problem, not a web2py problem. I swear to you that I have vim and Eclipse set to utf-8 encoding. For that matter, my browser is also set to utf-8 encoding. However, regardless of whether I'm entering the encoded character into the controller source code, or using a text field to upload the ñ into my app, it's coming out encoded differently, but consistently wrong. Do you know where in Eclipse I must set encodings to get it to stick to utf-8? So far, I have found two places. One is File > Preferences and the other is Edit > Set Encoding. Anywhere else?
