Just skimmed over it. Looks very powerful and promising. If it's easy to implement with parse_as_rest it would be a great feature for web2py!
There are still not many "consumers" (http://www.odata.org/consumers), but nevertheless it'd be worth IMHO. (Unfortunately no Python client library seems to exist.)
