Not an "official" one, as far as I know, but there are community members who keep errata lists. I try to fix each error that gets mentioned in this mention, as do other community members too. I have long since stopped referring to my Lulu hard-copy. > To this end, the online version should be more > structured and divided, so that comments can be made in sections, not > whole chapters. I tend to agree, and I would also prefer edits to be a little more atomic, rather than entire chapters. But it's not a biggie, and I can live with the current setup. > In my opinion, a great book (not good, but great) is very important > for the prestige of web2py framework and for more people to > incorporate it as part of their technical background. I do not care about prestige, nor do I care about the technical background of other people, but I do care about accurate and easy-to- understand documentation. Passionately. I have not had the time to do as much as I would like on the web2py book, but every little bit helps. I do what I can. Perhaps sometime in the future we can initiate a discussion with Massimo on some kind of scheme where each chapter is assigned to a specific community member who agrees to take on some responsibility for the quality and accuracy of that chapter. But this project isn't really organized with that kind of formality in general, so it probably wouldn't work. I would be willing to take responsibility for a chapter; maybe two, but more than that is going to cost too much time.
