One more method of dealing with left nav missed: * Make left navigation pop-up and hidden by default with an obvious cue. This doesn't suffer from the problems collapsible nav suffers from, because collapsing is done automatically. It does suffer from user's inability to see the options right away. You can circumvent the latter by allowing a few seconds before the nav is auto-collapsed (say 3~5 seconds, unscientifically speaking). -- Branko Vukelić bg.bra...@gmail.com stu...@brankovukelic.com Check out my blog: http://www.brankovukelic.com/ Check out my portfolio: http://www.flickr.com/photos/foxbunny/ Registered Linux user #438078 (http://counter.li.org/) I hang out on identi.ca: http://identi.ca/foxbunny Gimp Brushmakers Guild http://bit.ly/gbg-group
