Also, I don't know if this is intentional, but the change log now
wraps all the items within each release in one big paragraph (instead
of listing each change on a separate line, as in the README file),
making it a bit hard to read (and making the "web2py file structure"
at the top almost completely useless).

It appears the new site generates the change log page by passing the
README file to MARKMIN(), which doesn't produce quite the same output
as the old changelog() function. Release 1.56 looks particularly odd
because it includes a number of lines starting with "# ", which
MARKMIN is converting into large headings. The old changelog()
function also listed the releases in reverse chronological order,
which I think was more useful (though it might be nice to keep the
web2py file structure at the top).
