not modules/t2.py itself but almost all its functionality has been absorbed by Mail, Auth, Crud and Services in gluon/tools.py and it is much better.
The only think left out if the wiki-like functionality, the storage of models in db itself, the inline error reporting. T4 (on launchpad) was an attempt to rewrite t3 with current web2py in very few lines of code.
