Hello, I swear i saw a post in the last week about creating database queries with substring syntax for filtering like: query = db(db.table.string_field[:4] == ".com")
but i can't find the post about that. am i dreaming? and does something like this work on the Google App Engine? I was trying it but got an error: File "/home/cfhowes/clients/rockriver/source/web2py/gluon/sql.py", line 2703, in __getslice__ s = self._db._translator['substring'] % d KeyError: 'substring' Thanks, Christian -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "web2py-users" group.
