There is a new link in admin/default/site "upgrade web2py". Seems to work on source but needs to be tested on Windows and Mac binary.
** This may mess up your web2py installation ** To help with test: 1) make a copy of web2py in a different folder 2) edit the VERSION file and set it to something old like 1.0.0 3) start web2py and click on the link 4) Restart web2py 5) check the version again, was it upgraded?
