Hello Everyone,

I'm working on a project that is controlled via a web2py app and
grants permissions to other non-web2py applications. Does anyone have
any insight on how I can first direct the user to register/login to
his account via the web2py app and then allow the users to access the
other applications. I know I can setup a simple .htaccess login
scheme but I was wondering if there was a way to simply piggy-back off
of the login authentication built into web2py to access the urls of
the other apps.

Here's a bit more detail about the project:
qakit.com can best be described as the 37 Signals of open-source QA
(quality assurance) applications. Instead of offering new proprietary
software, QAKit offers secure access to pre-installed and configured
software testing tools like Mantis Bugs and a private wiki by Wiki
Media.

To summarize, if a user wants to access their private wiki, they'd
have to first log into qakit.com to authorize access to even view the
wiki.

Cheers!

Jim
