Great video Mengu. Very helpful! Not only did it show a many of the capabilities of web2py, but i learned some really handy Python idioms (such as List Comprehensions). Also, i really liked the fact that you showed the real process- thinking, trying, retrying, diving into the web2py source... excellent presentation of real software development.
I would mention that Mengu has graciously put the source for the screencast up on github. http://github.com/mengu/web2py-screencast Mengu often hangs out on the #web2py channel on freenode.
