Well the only way I got code completion to work is using this guide
here

by inserting the imports in the files your working on

and

under Komodo project properties (Windows)
Script C:\<your dir>\web2py\web2py.py
Script Arg -a r
Directory C;\<your web2py dir>

Works just like WingIDE. So I may just stick with WingIDE for now.
