wow this is all great stuff, it sounds like my concerns are overblown.
Honestly after reviewing all the features of the GAE api i was deeply
concerned about any DAL that supports SQL being of use on GAE but your
insistence and knowledge of the subject reassures me that I'm not
barking up the wrong tree. It would be great to see some sample code
on the wiki for implementing these GAE specific features I'm sure many
people would love to try it out, me included. And it would probably
help people get up to speed to do just what you suggest, contributing
to the project, adding features etc. Thanks :-)
