you are missing a simple thing here - if this is the port webfaction gives you, then that is the port you probably have a default (or your mod_wsgi) running on already...
For running from the command shell loggin, to get the password set use ANY OTHER port number (since NO ONE will ever be accessing this server / port; it is only temporary to set the password). Then rename the parameters_[port].py file to reflect the port number that your mod_wsgi version (and external facincg instance) of web2py will be running on, restart mod_wsgi and you should be all set. - Yarko On Mon, Sep 7, 2009 at 11:52 AM, Jose <jjac...@gmail.com> wrote: > > > > On 7 sep, 14:01, mdipierro <mdipie...@cs.depaul.edu> wrote: > > This is because that port is already in use. if not by one of your > > programs by another user. > > > > > Yes, but that is the port WebFaction gives me when I create the > application. > > Any idea how to solve it. > > Jose > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "web2py-users" group.
