To use winpdb you just add
  import rpdb2; rpdb2.start_embedded_debugger('any_password')
to your code where you want to start debugging.

This will effectively pause your app until you start winpdb and do
  File > Attach
with the given password to find your waiting process,
from there is just regular debugging.

No decorator (in the python sense), no bizarre-ness.
