Dave, you mentioned "Sanitize private/appconfig.ini" - could you please comment on it - I am not sure how this file is used by web2py, but seems that it may have some private info (though has some generics for me now). Should I just exclude it from git? Is it getting recreated by w2p or... What did you mean by "sanitize" in this case?
