Are you sure extension="bbb" results in a "pdf" extension? If you are posting to the URL with a .pdf extension, that extension will be propagated by the URL() function by default. However, if you explicitly specify the "extension" argument (with any value other than None), it will use the value you provide (or no extension if set to False).
