I used JQuery instead and did the following,

<div class="content">
    <div id="chooseHome">
        <h5 class="title">Home</h5>
        <button onclick="displayHomeForm()">Add Home</button>
    </div>
    {{=form}}
               
</div>

<script>
    $( document ).ready(function() {
        $('form').hide();
    });

    function displayHomeForm()
    {
        $('#chooseHome').hide();
        $('#chooseHome').next().show();
    }
</script>
