I can copy the URL http://localhost:8000/abctest/default/index/1/test.png 
direct to the browser and it will open the image with the download message.
If I use the URL from a static image 
http://localhost:8000/abctest/static/_2.14.6/images/background.jpg, no 
download message will pop up, images will display directly.

With EDIT PAGE MEDIA the link is managed by the Wiki engine (
@////1/test.png).
