def person(): form = SQLFORM(db.person, request.args(0)).process() person = db.person(request.args(0)) return dict(form=form, person=person) VIEW {{=form.custom.begin}} {{=form.custom.widget.name}} {{if person:}} <img width="200px" src="{{=URL('download', args=person.image)}}" /> {{pass}} {{=form.custom.widget.image}} {{=form.custom.submit}} {{=form.custom.end}} Probably this should be possible from 'form' varaible only. But I don't know how. Maybe somebody will give better help, or try understand the examples in http://www.web2py.com/books/default/chapter/29/03/overview On Monday, 20 February 2017 14:00:47 UTC+1, Najtsirk wrote: > > Hi, > > i have the following problem. > > *Model:* > db.define_table('person', > Field('name', 'string', label='Name'), > Field('image','upload', label='Image', autodelete=True, > uploadfolder=os.path.join(request.folder, 'uploads/persons')) > > *Controller:* > def person(): > form = SQLFORM(db.person, request.args(0)).process() > return dict(form=form) > > *View:* > {{=form.custom.begin}} > > {{=form.custom.widget.name}} > > {{=form.custom.widget.image}} > > {{=form.custom.submit}} > > {{=form.custom.end}} > > > *The problem:* > How can I get image thumbnail in update form?
