Background: Currently I'm junior Java backend developer just started working in a company. Before learning Java i did some websites in PHP and JavaScript. I am very much attracted by Python for such a long time but never had time to learn it. A few experienced programmers suggested me web2py because it is easy to start to learn Python and make some webapps with it. I have this side job, jewelry shop, right now it has only 50 products to sell, but will expand maybe to 300-500 in the future. My question is, is this the right thing to do in web2py? I know Python is powerfull in many fields, but is it ok to focus on webapps and base your career on that, and start with web2py?
