reading some of the pythonanywhere and scheduler related posts perhaps common sense would be to avoid pythonanywhere for that purpose (w2p scheduler) ? I don't want to live in the fear of a database lock "coming out from another galaxy".......
may I ask where do you host your app and run the scheduler process(es) ?
