I don't know bootstrap 3, but in bootstrap 2, row class were required for
span6 class or other parameter width classes and bootstrap grid to works
properly... Could it be possible that the windows size of the browswer
prevent the display you want? Boostrap is by nature responsive which mean
that your design degrade gracefully depending of the size of the display...
