Because the grid uses URL args to determine the action being requested, you cannot also use URL args for other purposes without informing the grid, so you need to do: SQLFORM.grid(..., args=request.args[:1]) That tells the grid to ignore the first URL arg and preserve it in any links it generates. > 2) when I use this code, I have the group_id field that show in the middle > column, between last and first name, and then if I edit the row and get > back > group_id get back in the first column ?
