What is an easy way to increment a field in a db table? The brute force way would be something like rows = db.query(db.mytable.id > 0).select() for row in rows: newcount = row.mytable.counter + 1 db.mytable.update(db.mytable.id == row.mytable.id, counter = newcount) pass
Is there something more elegant? /dps -- Resources: - http://web2py.com - http://web2py.com/book (Documentation) - http://github.com/web2py/web2py (Source code) - https://code.google.com/p/web2py/issues/list (Report Issues) --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "web2py-users" group.
