...and this thread has played its role. Now it's time, I propose, to update the changelog. Nothing is broken, the problem is tiny and won't affect most people. But the way it is now, a person who upgrades might find that her code breaks, then either spend some time fixing it (and may not fix it in the canonical way), or spend some time looking for this thread. If you put a warning in the changelog, as has been done other times, the canonical fix will be available in the very directory of the web2py installation, in the first file you should read before upgrading. That's all I have to say, I don't have any trouble with changing a few lines of my code, I understand it's for the better and I just want to avoid trouble to some people over there.
