I'm having a unicode problem with the DAL. My web2py application work normal on local computer (Windows, MySQL). Bat after deploying on the server (Unix, Apache) this simple call:
db(db.myTable).select().first() generates an exception (see my topic). The data on both machines (utf-8) is the same (tested by phpMyAdmin).
