Since AngularJS came up in this thread, I thought I would point to this article. Not to be off topic, but there are some users here of this package and this is information that will have to be considered by them moving forward.

It is bad news for anyone that has a lot of 1.X code, no conversion tools and given the type and scope of changes I am not sure a conversion tool is possible. We can say thanks to Massimo and the core developers for working so hard to maintain API compatability.
