Hi Massimo, I have found one great lib that has webDAV and S3 file system support ( https://code.google.com/p/pyfilesystem) i believe it is better to use it as basis for our file manger instead of py libs for webDAV alone? The only think I am concern right now is upload and download. I would prefer to do it directly to the storage avoiding round trip via web2py server. Is it possible somehow - or only via storage API like S3?
Also I have found django project based on pyfilesystem <https://code.google.com/p/pyfilesystem/>: https://github.com/revolunet/django-extjs-filebrowser We think to adopt it to web2py and make web2py file manager plugin with opening it for web2py lovers. Would it be useful for web2py community? If so is there any preferences, guidance, suggestions for such a things? Architecture advice and help would be very appreciated to make plugin useful for everybody and avoid rewriting it many times. Currently we have urgent need in web file manager so the work have just started today:) What you think?
