That will prevent users from buying but should not cause the problem
you mention.

Try replace

def setup():
    response.view='manage/setup.html'
    form=SQLFORM(store.info,mystore)
    if form.accepts(request.vars,session):
        response.flash='that was easy! now go vist your store.'
    else:
        response.flash='welcome to the store setup'
    return dict(form=form)


with

def setup():
    response.view='manage/setup.html'
    form=SQLFORM(store.info,mystore)
    if form.accepts(request.vars,session):
        response.flash='that was easy! now go vist your store.'
    else:
        print form.errors
        response.flash='welcome to the store setup'
    return dict(form=form)

And let me know what it prints.
