Well I suggested this before. Facilitate the BETWEEN SQL operator in the DAL. Maybe something like drange(low value, high value). When you mention the DAL extensible, your thoughts on how? I have seen it attempted by either user defined functions of a blob-like type or as a real custom defined type. I would love to be able to do vectors as a simple field entry of a compound object.
