Hi, The html form created by crud.search is great, but for some fields I wanted the right hand 'text' input field to be a autocomplete style field so users can see all the distinct values for a field that they can then pick.
I've extended crud search in a class, this files is in in the applications modules folder, i had to import from gluon.tools import Crud , from gluon import * to get past errors with current.request Before I spend more time working on this just wanted to check this is safe to do....!
