Both are excellent frameworks and I have nothing but praise for both Django
and web2py. You need to try a small project in each and determine for
yourself which fits your needs better. There are so many similarities and
differences that it's impossible to declare one "winner" and "loser". Some
of the best parts of web2py were inspired by Django as well as Rails and
other platforms.

This is not a one-size-fits-all world. There are plenty of people who will
make your decisions for you, but only you can make the right choice. And
that comes from being informed -- the kind of "informed" that only comes
from experience in each platform.

Warm regards,

Joe
