found, in web2py.css there is a code:

input[type="text"], input[type="password"], select {
    margin-right: 5px;
    width: 300px;
}


now the question is:
if we want to customize fields size do we need to remove this from 
web2py.css. Is it a bug or the correct behavior of web2py.css?
