We can continie bickering about who-said-what, and in referrence to what. 
Instead, I'll just refrase the statement:
According to wikipidia, DAL-object-attributes are not referencing an 
object-graph in memory, as ORM ones do.

You may say anything to avoid admitting that, but it would sill be the case.

As for lazy-set objects, existing in row-objects and pointing to a 
backwards-foreign-key records, I dont remember seeing anything about that in 
the documentation. Can you post a link?
