I need to upgrade the version of web2py on my live website (hosted by webfaction) to match the local development version. I want to be absolutely sure (as I'm not entirely clear) about a few things.
1. if I connect (via putty) to the live site, is there a specific instruction to stop and restart the web2py? Hint: I'm not a Linux guy so perhaps it's a sudo command? 2. If I update the file directories with the latest version of web2py, I'm assuming that all that's required is to replace the contents of the following folders: /gluon /scripts /site-packages 3. I only need to upload compiled files of a matching version of web2py from local box to the compiled Thanks in advance -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "web2py-users" group.
