reddish as posted on http://mdp.cti.depaul.edu/appliances is really old, and incomplete (doesn't all work)...
Massimo's hard drive failed, and I think he didn't have a version "off on another device" (e.g. external USB drive - hint, hint - rsync is your friend! - or launchpad / bitbucket / github repository) anywhere. Since you can't get reddish code back from appspot, you (someone, anyone) now has the task of fully testing reddish (from the appliances page) and updating it to work as it does on appspot (at least) and - please, put that on bitbucket or launchpad.... This is a good example of why it's important to locally test and understand before deploying. Some things are (necessarily) examples, some are incomplete, etc. Yarko On Sun, Mar 8, 2009 at 4:49 PM, jess <jessica.tir...@gmail.com> wrote: > > hi, I'm having trouble running reddish (downloaded from > http://mdp.cti.depaul.edu/appliances) off google app engine.
