Public access has been granted. The patch (up-to-date to revision 584
of trunk) is available here:

Ok, this has been fixed.  Now it's the following files that have been
modified (no new files have been added):

web2py\applications\admin\controllers\default.py
web2py\applications\admin\models\0.py
web2py\applications\admin\views\default\edit.html


I found a web2py bug while I was working:

While making the change to transfer the preferences from
user_preferences.ini to the model file 0.py, I made a syntax error in
0.py. Then when attempting to go to the Admin Application through my
browser I got an error ticket. When i tried to access the error ticket
I got another error ticket--in an infinite series. To figure out what
I did wrong I had to run web2py through my Eclipse debugger.
