Hello,

Thanks for the response.   I'm running Ubuntu 9.04.

It looks like the server ignores the --port=8001 but I can enter it by
hand in the webserver screen (where you set the administrator
password) and it works.

python ./web2py.py --port=8001
default applications appear to be installed already
