Principally an issue of popup blocking. I tested the page in Chrome, FireFox, Safari, and IE-6; only Chrome kills it; it even kills the little 'toggle' switch at the bottom. It is a criticized feature of Chrome insofar as it there's no method to override the blocking for trusted sites without disabling blocking altogether; I haven't put Opera on this machine.
As to the line numbers only going up to '2', you may have already determined this for yourself, but the numbers just go up to the number of lines entered in the text.
