pedro, your request.vars only include "t1scoreX" and "t2scoreX" (where X is the match.id) and those are not fields in your table, are they?.
In the generated form code, look for '<input name=' , those are the vars returned when you submit (in your case there are no selects, etc. which can also return vars) .
