I'm new with Web2PY framework coming from JAVA world using STRUTS (I have experience with Python). I'm really familiar with MVC and I really really love Web2Py. I want to develop an enterprise application which will grow over the time. I was concern about these designs issues:
- How stable a BIG application can be using Web2Py growing over the time, - Can I use a connection Pool technique with Web2Py if yes how to get a related resources, - I'm concern about how fast the communication between Database and my Web2Py application can be since there is no build-in API for stored procedure. - Do you think I can build a solid application with Web2Py without using Store Procedure ? if yes do you have any useful resources ? I bought the "WEB2PY" manual book and I love it I read it but I'm still concern about the issues I just listed in this note. I would love to have your idea before I invest my time developing my big enterprise application using your framework. I really want to thank you for your attention and congratulation for the great work you have done; it is amazing.
