I have just downloaded the pengoworks auto-complete files, and am trying to figure out from the post you reference above how to get all this to work properly in case of my plaatsnaam auto-complete field. Since I do not need an id, just the plaatsnaam will do, I guess the implementation will be a bit easier than what you describe in your post on the pengoworks auto-complete.
