P.S. I think it might be nice for web2py to provide some sort of feedback to let the end-user know why the form.accept() call rejected the db insertion.
Otherwise, the next time someone runs into this issue they will again have to load the debugger (assuming they have one) to diagnose why they mysteriously can't create new records in the database.
