Thanks for all replies. I think I will create such tool. Some weeks ago I created tool to retrive Oracle schema, and I think it will be base to create such tool for Oracle db: http://code.activestate.com/recipes/576534/ I thought about reading PostgreSQL schema from output of: pg_dump --schema-only but I think the better solution is reading from system tables as shown in: http://www.alberton.info/postgresql_meta_info.html It will warn if there is no 'id' column in table.
