I exchanged a few mails with vitalsource guys to know more on their format since the pdf version was taking a while, and I am kind of disappointed with its portability. One problem is that I can view the book only on 2 computers. That means I cannot store it on my backup database or view it from my work laptop, etc. Also, NO printing beyond 2 pages !!!! They should look at the DRM version of pdf which ensures that printing is watermarked and each copy is assigned to individual buyer. this ensures that if the pdf is distributed around, you can trace it to the owner, etc... This is ideal for the publishers who are psyched about piracy... any case, I am sure Massimo is on top of this... lets just hope the publishers understand our cause :-)
