There is a very strange sequence of events in the episode with Gentleman Dan. Aunt Bee is preparing an elaborate supper for Gentleman Dan and she leaves with the tray of food for the courthouse. After she leaves, Andy starts to tell a Jack Story to Opie. Opie loses interest, so Andy tells him to go up to bed. Andy reminds him not to stay up and look at his picture books. So Opie goes up to bed. A bit later Aunt Bee comes into the courthouse with the food and Opie is with her. Now how does that happen when she left for the courthouse and then Opie goes to bed.
