Being I am a senior citizen, I would love to see a Mayberry Retirement Community established. They could have a simple Main Street with a café, barber shop, drug store, and other retail businesses that would cater to "seniors". People could buy or rent quaint homes with small yards and sidewalks. Of course there would be a security person on duty with a squad car. He would wear a uniform but not carry a gun. There could be a interdominational church called "Old Souls Church". Get it? Old Souls. There would be band concerts on Sunday nights. The community center would have square dancing, bingo, arts and crafts, and pageants. It would be built adjacent to a small lake so people could go fishing or have picnics there.
Anything else you would like to see in the "Mayberry Retirement Community". Ken "Barney" Anderson The Mayberry Guru 2906 May Street Eau Claire, Wisconsin 54701 www.themayberryguru.com _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list [email protected] http://www.wbmutbb.com/
